Natural Connections

Greno Wood in north Sheffield became the focus of a permanent exhibition that explores the links between the diverse species of flora and fauna living in the city’s green spaces. Mel designed and produced three animated films to playfully highlight the history of this important site, the current management system that is in place and the importance of working together to protect the wood’s wildlife habitats.

Visitors can also discover who eats who in a giant food web featuring specimens from the museum’s collections, and have the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the Wood’s mini-beasts through a series of interactive elements.

The exhibition was produced in partnership with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust.
